DESCRIPTION:Our Education & Empowerment Series brings together expert voices and meaningful topics to provide the knowledge\, tools\, and support you need to feel confident and empowered on your journey. \nThe Restorative Power of Nature \nThe Restorative Power of Nature\, presented by Summit County Master Gardeners Mindy Costigan-McCartney and Dr. Denise Gibson\, is inspired by the book The Well-Gardened Mind by Sue Stuart-Smith. Together\, we’ll explore the physical\, emotional\, and mental health benefits of spending time in nature and gardening. Participants will be taken on a nature walk while being introduced to the practice of Mindful Gardening—a way to reduce stress and deepen connection with the natural world. \nRegistration is preferred. \nRegister Here
