Annual Butterfly Gala
The Butterfly Gala is held each year under a gorgeously decorated tent in the backyard of a Stewart’s supporter. This intimately styled event, which includes valet, dinner, live & silent auctions as well as live entertainment, is attended by community leaders, supporters and friends of Stewart's Caring Place.
Butterfly Gala 2025: An Evening of Hope and Celebration
Join us for a magical evening at the Butterfly Gala, Stewart’s Caring Place’s signature annual fundraiser, held on Saturday, August 23, 2025. This year’s event will take place at the beautiful home of our gracious hosts, Mickey & Angie Remen, whose generosity helps bring this unforgettable night to life.
Set beneath a gorgeously decorated tent, the Butterfly Gala is an intimate and elegant affair that brings together community leaders, supporters, and friends to celebrate compassion, resilience, and the power of hope. We are thrilled to have our 2025 Co-Chairs, Sarah Bokovitz & Brianna LaRose,
co-hosts of Second Base podcast, also be our Master of Ceremonies for the evening.
Guests will enjoy:
A gourmet dinner in a stunning outdoor setting
Live and silent auctions featuring exclusive items and experiences
Live entertainment from Roxxymoron
Valet service
We are proud to honor Joey Arrietta as the 2025 Spirit Award Recipient. Joey’s legacy spans decades of leadership in women’s professional softball and tireless community service. As founder of the Akron Racers and creator of the Muffins for Mammograms® program, her impact on women’s health, youth development, and cancer awareness has been profound and enduring.
Every moment of the Butterfly Gala supports Stewart’s mission: providing free support services to individuals and families on their cancer journey. Your presence helps ensure that no one faces cancer alone.
