At Stewart’s Caring Place, we provide a caring, relaxed environment to those of all ages touched by any phase or stage of cancer. We offer supportive programs and services at no cost for everyone.

Support Groups & Counseling

Support groups encourage conversation and understanding for those who are newly diagnosed or in treatment, those who have completed treatment and those supporting loved ones along their cancer journey. All support groups meet in person and can also be attended virtually.

Holistic Care

A holistic approach to a healthy lifestyle for those impacted by cancer. We are currently offering massage, reiki, healing touch and small group restorative movement yoga. Please call to schedule an appointment.

Group Fitness & Yoga

All fitness levels welcome! Classes meet in person and can also be attended virtually. Also be sure to check our video gallery or YouTube channel for on demand recordings to keep your mind and body active!

Wigs & Beauty

Wigs and other beauty accessories such as hats, scarves and comfort items are available to help you maintain your outward self during your journey. Please call to schedule an appointment.

Family Programs

Programming is available for those of all ages. Plan to join us for one of our holiday celebrations or family fun nights throughout the year.

Connectivity & Friendship

While face-to-face conversations with old (and new) friends may be trying during your journey, it’s still important to feel heard and to continue to connect with others in meaningful ways. Enjoy our book club or poetry writing group.

Financial & Legal Counseling

Meet with a licensed professional to get questions answered in a personalized session. Support people are encouraged to attend.

Food Pantry & Nutrition

Supported by the Stephen A. Comunale, Jr. Family Cancer Foundation. Our food pantry is here for any participant who is facing food insecurity. Food shares include fundamental dry and canned goods, paper products, and more. Call ahead and we will prepare a food share for you.

Outdoor Activities

Getting outside and experiencing nature has health and wellbeing benefits. Join us outside!

Education & Screenings

Stewart’s partners with local hospitals to provide educational information sessions as well as certain cancer screenings. Here you will also find educational online videos that are accessible for you to watch in the comfort of your own home at a time that’s convenient for you.

Breast Cancer Fund of Ohio

100% of funds raised stay here in Ohio to benefit patients and organizations like Stewart’s Caring Place in your community. Your plate can serve as a reminder to others on a daily basis the importance of regular breast cancer screening.
