Revving Up Hope: Akron Bikers for Boobs honored at Stewart’s Caring Place 23rd Annual Butterfly Gala

AKRON, OH (July 1, 2026) — When people hear the name “Bikers for Boobs,” they may think of roaring motorcycles, larger-than-life personalities, and the group’s bold sense of humor. Those impressions are not wrong, but it’s only part of their story.
The J & F Memorial Fund, Inc. — known throughout Northeast Ohio as “Akron Bikers for Boobs” — has spent years proving that authenticity, generosity, and passion can ride side by side. While appearances may lead some to make assumptions about the Bikers, their mission and accomplishments speak for themselves: there is strength in numbers, and each year, Bikers and non-bikers alike come together to raise significant funds to support local cancer services. This all-volunteer organization has raised an astonishing $640,486.91 through dedicated volunteer efforts, community events, and an unwavering devotion to the fight against cancer since their founding in 2009.
One of the organizations that has benefited most from the Bikers’ generosity is Stewart’s Caring Place: Cancer Wellness Centers in Fairlawn and Canton. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, Stewart’s Caring Place relies entirely on community support to provide free wellness programs and services to individuals and families facing cancer – making their partnership with Akron Bikers for Boobs invaluable. As one of the organization’s most steadfast supporters since 2012, the Bikers have helped Stewart’s Caring Place spread its reach and mission throughout Northeast Ohio. In 2025, they presented Stewart’s Caring Place with a $97,510.79 check.

The Bikers’ impact extends beyond their fundraising totals. The awareness they raise, the community they create, and the strength they give to individuals and families navigating a cancer journey is what has kept their momentum going for nearly two decades.
That’s why it’s especially fitting that Stewart’s Caring Place will honor the J & F Memorial Fund, Inc. with the Spirit Award during their 23rd annual Butterfly Gala on Saturday, August 29, 2026. Held at the beautiful private residence of Brian Moore in Hinckley, the Butterfly Gala is Stewart’s Caring Place’s signature fundraising event and a celebration of resilience, hope, and community generated at the cancer wellness centers. The evening will feature dinner, entertainment, auctions, inspiring testimonials, and opportunities to directly support the organization’s no-cost programs and services.
For years, the Butterfly Gala’s Spirit Award has recognized individuals and organizations whose commitment to the cancer community reflects the heart of Stewart’s Caring Place. Akron Bikers for Boobs is a more-than deserving recipient; their rugged style and boisterous demeanor doesn’t outshine their big hearts. Their story is a reminder that community support comes in many forms—every mile the Bikers ride, every event they organize, and every hour they volunteer is driven by genuine compassion for their community.
As Stewart’s Caring Place gathers supporters for the Butterfly Gala in August, the community can take the opportunity to celebrate, thank, and get to know Akron Bikers for Boobs for who they really are. Congratulations to Akron Bikers for Boobs and the J & F Memorial Fund, Inc. on this well-deserved recognition!
Sincerely,
